MIT TECH REVIEW
I designed and created this infographic for the MIT Tech Review with Infographics.com, which visualizes the supplies where various rare minerals are produced:
Wind turbines, electric vehicles, light-emitting diodes, flat-screen displays, and solar panels all rely on elements that are mined and refined in just a few countries and traded in small quantities. Demand for many of these elements is expected to grow rapidly as these technologies become more commonly used, and impending supply constraints could hold back their growth. - Mike Orcutt at MIT TECH REVIEW

JAMES IRVINE FOUNDATION
Created with Infographics.com, these info graphics accompanied the James Irvine Foundation’s illustrated highlights report on California’s arts ecology.
To quote the foundation: “Arts and culture play a significant role in the daily lives of Californians. The state is noteworthy for the avid participation of its people, the diversity and abundance of its arts organizations and the varied regional characteristics of its arts sector. California’s regions reflect distinctive populations, participation rates, numbers and types of arts and culture organizations, and levels of arts funding. New findings generated by Markusen Economic Research and commissioned by the Irvine Foundation offer fresh illustrations of the California nonprofit arts sector and the people who take part in it.”

INC MAGAZINE JOB GROWTH
Created with Infographics.com. Most economists agree that fast-growth start-ups create the bulk of the nation’s new jobs. With that in mind, we thought it would be interesting to look back and see how some of the superstar Inc. 500 companies of the past decades have performed on that count.
KNOCKING ON HEAVEN’S DOOR GRAPHICS
While at Infographics.com, I was one of two designers tapped to create over 80 figures one of TIME Magazine’s most influential people, physicist Lisa Randall. We were challenged with the task of creating a series of diagrams that visualized complex concepts like multidimensional universes, particle collisions, and dark matter, all within the constraints of a traditional, grey-scale book.

TEDx ANIMATION
I created this animation for Infographics.com to describe the creative and technical process behind several animations they developed to visualize the rapid growth of the TEDx program. I wrote the script, created the storyboard, executed the animation in After Effects and created the music/sound.
CNN MONEY ANIMATION
For this project I created a demonstration video to highlight a data driven Flash interactive created by Infographics.com. I wrote and edited the script, designed and executed the animation, and created the music and sound design.
The animation is designed to clearly highlight how the animation works, and some of the details of our design process in creating it.

ULTRA NATÉ WEBSITE
Web design for veteran dance music diva, Ultra Naté. Design goals were to create a CMS site that incorporated a new logo, expanded content, and a new design. Additional features include audio players and a scrolling text window that displays quotes from Ultra’s friends, family and fans in reflection of her career so far.
